Legal
SEEL can rely on its own fully comprehensive in-house legal department which deals with all trading agreements (both physical and financial) and trading business related matters; furthermore, the department provides support in respect of compliance and corporate issues.
Credit Risk Management
SEEL's in house Credit Department is charged with the proactive management of counterparty credit risk in the trading portfolio. Counterparts for transactions are individually checked and approved by the Credit Department. Internal ratings are assigned and trading limits are allocated using Sempra's Credit Risk Management policy guidelines. Master Trading Agreements, Netting Agreements and Credit Support documents are put in place to minimise Sempra's credit exposure as appropriate.
